Necessary equipment

  • Salad bowl

  • Baking sheet

  • Baking paper

  • Christmas Cookie Cutter

  • Rolling pin

  • Food film

Ingredients

  • Icing sugar

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • Soft butter, 3,53oz (100g)

  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon

  • Flour, 8,82 oz(250g) +1 little for table and rolling pin

  • Sugar, 2,47 oz (70g)

Recipe

In a bowl, pour the flour, salt, cinnamon and sugar and mix.

Cut the butter into small cubes and pour into the bowl and mix.

Add the egg and mix by hand to obtain a homogeneous dough.

Form a ball, put it in food wrap and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes

After 30 minutes, preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).

Flour your work surface and rolling pin.

Spread out your dough and cut it with your cookie cutter.

Put butter-covered baking paper on your baking sheet and place the shortbread on top.

Bake in your oven always at 350°F (180°C) for 10 minutes.

Once cooked, remove from oven and sprinkle with icing sugar.

Let cool to harden
